My Fitness Pal
So Ive downloaded this app on my phone that tells you how much of everything your suppose to get a day. Everything from fats to vitamins. You enter your age, weight, and how active you are. You also can record what you're eating everyday, and it will let you know how many calories and other things you are eating. I love this app because it really tells you the truth about your way of eating. For an example, I didn't know that I was in taking so much cholesterol. Now I know to watch my intake.

Vegetable Omlet

Mixed one egg with, tbspn of spinach, tbspn of red bell peppers, tbspn of asparagus. Sprayed pan with olive oil, and cooked.

I also added a little Kraft Swiss Cheese to the top.

Guacamole
Scoop out the flesh of two avocados, combine with two cloves of minced garlic, a bit of minced onion, the juice of one lemon, chopped cilantro, one medium chopped tomato, and a pinch of salt.

If you dint feel like doing all of this, then try Wholly Guacamole from the fruit section of your grocer. This is a pretty decent natural guacamole.

Health Myths that I have read and discovered

Sea salt is better than table salt? False
It still consist of just as much sodium and regular salt.

Turkey bacon is healthier than regular bacon? False
Most turkey bacon is not 100% percent turkey, and consist of high amounts of sodium

"Natural" means natural? False
The FDA has no way of certifying this.

If I eat less calories, then I'll loose weight?False
I just found out that if you don't get the right amount of calories, your body does not have what it needs to function correctly. This can also slow down your metabolism. I know this because I was not getting enough calories, and I was gaining weight. You can't have too little, but you can't have too
much.

Im am trying my best to be healthy and get a better shape.

So a couple a weeks ago, my friends and I did a challenge to see who could loose the most weight. The prize was $100. I started out exercising and eating right for the first week. After the first week, I was back to my daily mocha frozen thingy and other fatty foods. The last week is when I really started trying for some weird reason. I ate a lot of fruit and vegetables and I stayed away from fried food. I then realized that this healthy thing could become a lifestyle and not just a diet for the summer. So I've recently become this health fanatic, and I am thirsting for any information concerning being fit and healthy. So I decided to write about my findings and maybe learn more by doing so.
